I love working with this family-apart from the fact that our sense of humor matches (no comments please) I spend so much time laughing when I am with them that my sides ache from laughing so hard. I also love that they appreciate the outtakes as much as the real portraits. At the start of the session (which really was a comedy of errors- everything from run-away dogs, to sprinklers), I said (tounge planted firmly in cheek) "Oh boy, a toddler and a dog" thinking to myself that it was going to be a wee bit challenging~ I think the mom now understands why I made that comment. 
So here is this wonderful little boy- single pointed focus- very clear in his needs- and quite busy getting ready to walk (phew that was fast).
