Well, I am so incredibly pleased to announce that an image that I entered into the county fair took:
Best In Show
I’m doing a little happy dance over here if you can’t see me <waits for the music to stop>.
This was a really interesting experience for me as I found it surprisingly challenging to enter my personal work (as opposed to work that I create for clients). I hemmed and hawed about entering- but finally decided that I needed to be brave and enter- what was the worst thing that could happen? Right? So I took a deep breath and entered and am I wonderfully, humbly, proudly, embarrassed-ly, excited to say that I won! I am *still* blushing- and floating on cloud 9.
So here is the photo- it took three ribbons- First place in class, Best in Division, and Best in Show :D Zoinks!

If you haven’t checked out the Fair- go - right now- go- it is a really amazing fair and the talent in the quilting, Fine Art, photography, ALL of the stuff that the kids enter- all of it - is really spectacular.
Congratulations to everyone else who was brave enough to enter- you should be proud!!!! and let me know what you entered as I would love to check it out!!!!

Good timing. My family and I are headed for the Fair tonight. We always check out the art and photography pavillion. I’ll see if the blog photo does the real thing justice.
