I received a phone call from a lovely family who lives in Chicago. They were going to be out here for a short get away and we scheduled a portrait session. At one point during the conversation, she quietly, hopefully, asked, "Any chance that there will be sun?" I laughed as some of my Chicago friends have been telling me tales of ice storms and -4 degree weather with wind chill that makes it feel like it is in the -30’s- What the heck is up with that wind chill? It is simply beyond my comprehension. So yes, I put in a request to the weather powers- that- be and the day was stunningly beautiful. (And for the record- it was dumping rain the few days preceding and the few days after). So for you folks freezing in Chicago- here is a sneak peek.
And I HAD to show these in color so you could prove to your friends that it really was breathtakingly beautiful that day….
And boy was this little guy smitten with his grandfather!
