Earth’s fuel reserves

I read a startling statistic in

The Healthy Home Handbook

It states: "The earth’s stock of minerals resources is finite…Exact estimates vary, but at current rates it is likely that the world’s oil will last only to about the year 2050, natural gas until 2030 and coal until 2200."  That is within our (or our children’s) lifetime.

I am faaaaaar from a perfect environmentalist- very far- but I am looking to make little changes that will have a big impact over time.
